LOS ANGELES - Miley Cyrus said that after the Grammy Award ceremony she got to meet a person who she has admired ever since she was three-years-old.

The teen queen even pointed out that her father the former country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus also had admired this man known as Bob Dylan ever since he was in high school

Miley noted that when she was six her father bought her, her very first toy guitar. It cost $4 and her dad had purchased it at Toys 'R' Us in Nashville.

Little Miley quickly learned thirteen chords and in no time she was playing songs by some of her father's all-time favorite bands, The Byrds; The Yardbirds; The Eagles; and Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.

Miley also became a devoted fan of the lyrical poet Bob Dylan. She said that her second grade teacher Portia Blunderhaven, 61, once sent her to the principal's office because she was singing one of Bob Dylan's biggest hits in class.

The song was "Lay, Lady, Lay." Miley said that the principal told her that the song was highly inappropriate for a little girl to be singing since the song was about reproduction.

She instructed Miley to go home and learn songs by the Partridge Family, The Cowsills, Donny and Marie Osmond, and the Archies.

When Miley finally got to meet Dylan they talked for hours and he told her about how he had once stolen one of Linda Ronstadt's bras and sold it to comedian Flip Wilson for $900.

Another time he said that he spray painted Petula Clark's pet parrot Brett's balls bright orange. He said that Pet took her pet Brett to the vet and it ended up costing her $85 to get her pet Brett's balls unpainted.

He did admit to Petula that it was he who had done the painting since she was blaming Arlo Guthrie who at the time looked kinda like Dylan.

Miley and Dylan, who is 69, recently announced on The Oprah Winfrey Show that they will be going on a concert tour starting in April.

The tour will cover 94 cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and will be billed as The Poet & The Lap Dancer Springtime Tour.

Bob Dylan told Winfrey that he and Miley have both agreed to take some of the concert money and donate it to the American Salvia Bong Institute to aid in the fight against the practice of salvia bonging.
