Selena Gomez & “The Scene” (minus Justin Bieber) will do a Britney Spears tribute this summer while on tour. It'll be a "Who Says-Femme Fatale" mash-up, and fans are raving.
Justin Bieber's gal pal, the “Witches of Waverly Place” star and “Who Says” singer, sat down with E! News's Ryan Seacrest and spilled on her upcoming summer tour, according to Hollywood News.
This summer, Selena Gomez & “The Scene” (her pop band) will pay tribute to her idol, Britney Spears.
The pop singer and celebrated actress said that when she was a kid, she admired the music of the “Toxic” singer. In fact, Gomez's first album she ever bought was "Baby One More Time."
Gomez says that during her summer tour, she and her band will cover several hits by Spears in mash-upfashion. She just wants it to be fun and rave-like.
It's very admirable that people like Selena Gomez, a star in her own right, are humble enough to remember the people who came before them and had an impact on their success.
If one is going to do a mash-up, it may as well be songs by Britney Spears, who has been on the cutting edge of providing timeless music that defined the landscape of pop years ago.
